April 2024 Updates, Core Availability, & Gen V LT's

Available Cores as of 3/10/24:  Gen V LT1 / LT4, GM LS7, Finished 280cc GM LS7, 6-Bolt LS3/7/9's, 243/799's, Finished 226cc & 232cc 243's.  GM LS3, LSA, & LS9's.  TFS & Dart casting based options. 

Gen V DI LT's:  I do work on current direct injection Gen V LT's.  While I never put website pages up for the options, it essentially follows the same format as the LSx work.  I am currently wanting feedback / data on a couple newer designs, applied to typical FBO+Cam builds with common parts (e.g. 220-240deg cam, ARH/Kooks Header, GM or MSD intake, etc.).
  • Performance Rebuilds are good for making a used head better than new, mild gains, and having valve train & compression set up specifically for your application on a budget.  $995 + Parts

  • CNC Ported & other machining for applications where we need to maximize power potential in GM castings.
    $2295 & up, Including new OE GM LT1 heads with hollow valves & .660" net lift PSI Springs

  • Heavy Duty DI LT's in 4 or 6-bolt configuration: Lastly, for guys willing to invest in the best head available, I have NA & power adder versions of my heavy duty 6-bolt casting.  This is a professional racing quality, 100% American casting, that will handle even the most aggressive power adder builds.  Though the initial investment is higher, the drastic increase in strength & quality over GM castings will pay off in the long run.  $3995 & up

Sportsman Porting Option:  Having many requests for more economical porting & machining I have created some "Sportsman" versions of my most popular designs.  They're the same proven designs, but more in line with what most others sell insofar as refinement is concerned.  Only the essential work for reliable performance gains:  Chambers can be left as-cast where it doesn't affect performance, deburring is limited to what you actually lay hands on, etc.  Generally $300-500 less than our classic options for a fully machined & assembled head.

Notes regarding work:
  • LS7's are almost always in process as they make up a large proportion of my work.
  • I often have available LS7 cores to shorten wait times.  However, I prefer to have your LS7 cores arrive when I am ready to ship.
    This is to 1. Use your Ti intake valves in the build if possible, and 2. to avoid processing core charges & refunds.

  • Most LSx Full CNC Porting + all other machining, detail work, & labor is $1795-1995.  I will not compromise the
    quality & consistency of my product, and am typically adding more detail work to ensure my work remains a good value.
  • Ported Manifolds & Cams are an option only when we're also doing a set of heads for you at the same time.
    One off cams per application w/ our in-house QC are typically $445-595 depending on cam core used.
    Also happy to provide any popular BTR or Cam Motion stocked cam along with your head work.

  • I am accepting more & more work for other companies, as it lessens my C.S. load.
  • This includes Private Label, Design, Machining, CNC Programming, & Consultation regarding production.
  • I do offer CNC Porting Only for Engine Builders at any level of detail. Your design or mine.
  • I work with most any platform using Aluminum heads - motorcycles, exotics, powersports, marine, etc.

  • Gen 2 LT1's You guys are so persistent, that I am currently pricing out updated options for you.
  • TFS 21deg Porter casting based heads - castings are a few months out, deposit required, $3995.
  • 200cc GM work - Updating component options.  Classic Configuration Including guide work $2995.
  • Anticipate $2500-4500 depending on options & casting.  E-mail Me if you can't live without your LT1.

    If you know you want CNC work, you are welcome to get your heads inbound & shoot us an email at Sales @ with info on what you're sending in, your project, goals, tracking #'s, your return shipping address, etc.  With your heads in hand we can then get them in line for work, and invoice you once we have a chance to inspect them during prep for CNC work.  If you have blown up, modified, or damaged cores, please wait until we can respond via email.

    Please be sure the name you use in your email is written on the box & put a note inside with your name, email, etc!

    Be sure to read our Core Policies & Packing Tips before sending in heads!  It may be long, but it's important to know what is & isn't acceptable for work.  When possible we want to perform work on your castings, but we do try to keep a limited # of cores on hand for swaps now.  If you have extra sets of LSx or DI-LTx in undamaged/unmodified condition, we'll occasionally accept those as partial payment for your CNC work and/or buy them outright.

    Keep in mind, some of our shops / builders like Black Label Tuning,Complete Street Performance, Heintz Racing, PCM of NC, SS LSX Tuning, Top Gear Motorsports etc. often have heads already available or currently in process.  If you are working with an engine builder or shop, we're happy to do what we can to coordinate schedules with them.  We are always looking for competent and trustworthy installers we can send customers to for a turnkey experience.  If your shop wants to work with us, email us at Resale @
